Bowling |
All bowling will be done from on end only. 6 ball over. All 6 balls have to be valid. Free hits for front foot no ball. No bowler shall bowl more than 4 overs in a game unless there are only 6 players in the team, in that instant each bowler can bowl up to 5 overs. No spell must be more than 2overs Minimum 10 overs need to be bowled to constitute a match. No balls and wides all as per normal rules. |
Fielding | No fielder to field within 10m of the striking batsman. Coaches can assist in the fielding set up for U12 and u 13. |
Equipment |
All relevant equipment must be worn by batsmen and the wicket keeper. Helmets to be worn at all times while batting and wicket keeping. Pads, Gloves and Abdomen protector must be worn while batting. |
Time | A total of 150 Minutes will be allotted to complete both innings including 1interchange. Every innings must end within this time ( 70m) . If the bowling side bowls less than 20 overs in this allotted time, then they will face the same number of overs. |
Time lost and adjusting overs | The Umpires to their discretion will adjust the overs if time is lost due to bad weather. |
Dismissals | All mode of dismissals count |
Result |
The team that scores more after the allotted overs will be declared winners, If the game overs are adjusted due to rain, the run rate will decide the match. If the Run rate is equal, the winner is the team with the least number of wickets lost. If the match is tied after the end of the allotted overs, both teams will share equal points. |
Dispute | Once the umpires have decided the game,no disputes will be entertain you still have a grievance, the matter will be communicated to our grievance community in writing on the same day. The decision of the committee will be final. |
Duty of Care | Coaches and Managers must exercise duty of care at all times. The safety of all players is paramount at all times. |
Player, Coach, Manager and Player Conduct |
The umpire decision is final. Players must display good behaviour, respect and sporting spirit at all times towards each other and Umpires. Parents, Coaches and Managers are all bound with these conduct rules and must display good behaviour and be role models for others. There is no room or excuse for bad behaviour. Umpires reserve the right to give 5 penalty runs for poor behaviour or ask a player or coach/manager to leave the filed if necessary. |
